The Great Hall

Great Hall featuring `King Arthur's Round Table' and 13thC herb garden named after Queen Eleanor. The only surviving part of Winchester Castle, once home to the Domesday Book, this 13thC hall was the centre of court and government life. The round table, closely associated with the legendary King Arthur has hung here for over 600 years. Queen Eleanor's garden, a faithful representation of a medieval garden is at the rear.
